Another great game at Bourne Rugby Club this Sunday where the under 10s welcomed Peterborough, who are a strong team with good defensive and offensive play. Bourne had to step up their defensive game with some impressive tackles going in to prevent tries being scored. There were some fantastic tries scored by both teams and it was great to see everyone enjoyed the game which included the parents and extended families with their support from the side-lines. There were minimal knock ons or forward passes which is testament to the running lines being formed correctly. It was good to see Bourne clearing out the rucks and keeping their form, this ensured the retention of the ball which allowed the next phase of play and this was the case with mauls as well. We will continue to work on our core skills and look forward to our next game against Boston Rugby Club. Congratulations to William Lambie who was named Player of the Match in light of his impressive defensive play and tackles made.
