As the 2025/26 season draws to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has been a truly remarkable year for the Blue and Gold Army.
On the Pitch
This year, our 1st XV faced the unknown in the newly restructured Counties 1 Midlands East (North). The squad proved they belonged in this league, most notably, we turned #thedrove into a fortress, finishing the season undefeated at home with a perfect 11 wins from 11 matches—the only team in the league to achieve this.
Growth & Community
It has been a year of "firsts" for the club. We successfully launched our Ladies team, who hosted their historic first match at #thedrove in December. Our 2nd XV also returned to regular action, providing vital rugby for our senior squad depth.
Our Mini & Junior section continues to be the heartbeat of the club. Seeing hundreds of kids down on Saturday and Sunday mornings is a testament to the tireless work of our coaches and volunteers.
Investing in the Future
Off the Pitch
We are not standing still and have just committed to a substantial off-season maintenance program. Works have already begun on verti-draining and specialized turf care to ensure our pitches remain some of the best in the county for every player, from our U5s to our Seniors.
Thank You
None of this happens without the "Blue and Gold" family. To our sponsors, our hard-working committee, and especially our supporters who have cheered us on through every tackle and try—thank you.
We look forward to seeing you all at the club for our summer events as we prepare to go again next season.
