The 2nd XV finished their season with a fantastic run out against a predominantly Deeping 1st XV. A competitive game, with a bit of everything in it, ebbed and flowed throughout with Deeping's early score, against the run of play, ultimately the difference throughout. Despite confusion over the score at times Deeping were marginally the better side and worthy winners, their backs proving too young, too fit and too quick! Bourne put in a great shift though staying in touch throughout. A tough season has seen the lads go from strength to strength and they should be proud of their effort throughout... whilst results may occasionally have gone against them no-one has surpassed them in terms of effort, energy, humour and good looks!
