Another great game by the U10s at Thorney. It was great to see everyone enjoying the game and wanting to play. There was a clear progression with the rucks. I was pleased to see teammates stepping up and clearing rucks out quickly which ensured we kept the ball alive and moved to the next phase of play which often resulted in a try. I saw some good determination in the mauls as well. It was clear that our players are starting to move towards their preferred positions within the team. There was some great running, side steps, support play, passing and sportsmanship as well. Moving forward, we are going to continue to work on confidence in tackling and positioning. There were relatively few handling errors, re forward passes and knock ons. Just want to thank the parents for their time and support. A cracking and exciting game to watch. Player of the match went to George Calvert, for impressive forward running and side steps to avoid being tackled...
