Tries: Flynn, Rasheed 3, Harry 2, Elwood

A fast start by Spalding scoring 3 tries without reply it looked as though this would be a very one sided game.
Bourne then started tackling and driving forward getting some very well worked tries.
Unfortunately with only 9 players due to some last minute drop outs and Spalding having a larger squad tiredness crept in allowing us to concede a couple more tries.

After half time Bourne competed all over the pitch getting the score to 8-6 however after giving everything and getting some injuries Spalding got to far ahead, Bourne finished the game with one last try, a head injury resulted in one of our players unable to carry on and a feisty end to the game that showed the 100% commitment and attitude of the players….this was also praised by Spalding coaches and spectators.

The toughest decision so far this season…I gave player of the match to Oakley, he was everywhere, chasing the ball down, some last ditch tackling and always there to play or receive the pass…well done Oakley!
