The Under 8s squad at Bourne welcomes new players from School Year 3, with participants playing Tag Rugby, as the entry form of the game. The team trains on a Sunday morning from 9.30am to 11.00am, also playing matches at Home and Away during the same time slot. Please see the 'Fixtures' page of this website for more details.
The Under 8s squad is supervised and trained by RFU Level One qualified coaches, with any interested parents also able to play a part in the team development (and in time perhaps also become trained coaches!!).
The squad ethos is based around 'every child getting to play for the team' recognising that rugby is a team sport, with everyone having their own particular skills.
